🎎 Is Skoda Karoq A Good Car
The Karoq remains a handy asset for Skoda, because it’s still pretty much as practical as ever and is in a category that is winning lots of consumer attention. Within that pack, it’s still up near the front, and while the car as a whole is not as I’d prefer it, I did enjoy the interior improvements.
Skoda Karoq 1.5 TSI 150 SE L. That car's 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine is designed to deliver good fuel economy and puts out a modest 129bhp.
The Skoda Karoq simply one of the best affordable family SUVs on sale, if not the best. Despite being a few years old now it ticks all the boxes and has very few weak points. There are more exciting-looking rivals, though, and it's a shame there's no hybrid model. High quality interior with a premium feel.
Skoda offers a diesel and a more powerful petrol engine in the Karoq but I’d say that this 1.0 unit is more than adequate. Drive carefully and you should manage 40mpg or slightly better.

But to be fair to Skoda, new car prices have gone pretty bonkers across the board in recent times. The car itself is £37,295, with the price bumped up by a spare wheel (£170), a Performance
Jolak's post caught my attention because I too run a 1.5TSI Karoq DSG and the towing limit is 1500kg, not 1700kg. I've checked the VIN plate and Skoda's website and it confirms 1500kg. The Series 3 2015 Unicorn Valencia has an MTPLM of 1493kg, so just 7kg below the car's towing limit and nowhere near 1700kg. Skoda list the Karoq's kerbweight as
The Engine: The 1.5L TSI engine makes its debut in the Karoq and T-Roc. It is a good peppy engine and likes to be relaxed most of the time. The engine wakes up after 2500 rpm and makes a good sound too. The 150 bhp figure feels sufficient for this car. Overall it feels like an engine for a relaxed driver.
